Vision Compensatory Training
Ett stroke kan resultera i dubbelsidig förlust av synfält. VCT tränar hjärnan att titta i riktning mot fältförlust med hjälp av Maze-spelet och StreamLights läshjälp.
VCT syftar till att hjälpa patienter som lider av homonym hemianopi, t.ex. efter en stroke, för att förbättra deras visuella översikt. Den innehåller två funktioner:
- The Maze - ett labyrintliknande spel som tränar patienten att se i riktning mot sin synförlust.
- StreamLights - ett läshjälpmedel.
För bästa effekt bör VCT köras på en iPad, men en iPhone kan också användas.
Observera att VCT aldrig kan bota homonym hemianopi men kan hjälpa dig att anpassa dig till din synförlust.

Vision Compensatory Training
A stroke can result in double-sided loss of visual field.Vision Compensatory Training (VCT) trains the brain to look in the direction of field loss using the Maze game and the StreamLights reading aid.
VCT aims to help patients suffering from homonymous hemianopia, e.g., following a stroke, to improve their visual overview. It includes two functions:
- The Maze – a labyrinth-like game that trains the patient to look in the direction of their vision loss.
- StreamLights – a reading aid .
For best effect, VCT should be run on an iPad, but an iPhone may also be used.
Please note that VCT can never cure homonymous hemianopia but can help you adapt to your vision loss.
